Who is TJ? What makes him tick?
Originally from the UK (the accent is a giveaway there!), I have been in the USA since early 2015. As I look back to my non-work roles, they’ve been at the core about changing peoples’ lives.
That focus spans from serving as an Officer in the British Army reserves training Army Cadets in the UK to become better citizens to serving as a Lay Minister with the Church of England working with the church congregation to increase community outreach.
Even deeper, I’m the catalyst of change for myself. I’m always in training -
Qualifying as an assault course instructor with the British Army to learning to swim in my 40’s so I could compete in a triathlon.
Learning to climb a rope in my 50’s so I would not look too foolish at the Spartan Race.
And of course, I continue training to keep current all my technical certifications.
Being a catalyst for change and never stopping learning has served me well personally and professionally.
